Fiery & fresh Indonesian street food
Enak was formed after it’s founder, Joe, spent 3 months in a rural Indonesian village. A village miles apart from the Indonesia many of us know.
Joe spent 3 months living with a local family, fully embracing the slower pace of life. Blown away by their kindness and hospitality, he quickly began to feel like part of the family. Preparing meals with the women of the village.
Inspired by this trip, Enak was created. With the intent to bring the depth and authenticity of traditional Indonesian cooking to fellow Londoners. Sharing a portion of his profits with the village that taught him everything he knows.
Taking inspiration from local warungs and staple ingredients of the cuisine, we opted for a rich colour palette to reflect the intense flavours and a free-form logo to emulate the rugged simplicity of the culture.
